Charles T. O’Neill

Founder and President

Charles (Chuck) O’Neill is president and co-founder of O’Neill Marketing, a health insurance general agency located in Tampa, Florida. The Company works with insurance agents in 35 states and is expanding into new products and services to support and help consumers.

He has spent the past 30 years creating and founding new healthcare companies, new corporate communications and sales departments for existing healthcare companies, and consulting with new and emerging healthcare entities to grow their businesses.

He was founder and CEO of Avalon Healthcare, a for-profit individual and small group commercial health plan selling risk bearing health insurance plans to Floridians. Chuck assisted in building a number of emerging healthcare services companies including the Massachusetts CO-OP, Minuteman Health and BeneBay, Inc, a technology company in the TPA space.

He began his career in public relations and in 1992 joined Burson Marsteller working with Fortune 500 companies on major strategic initiatives. In 1994, he joined Oxford Health Plans to create the public relations department. At Oxford, he also developed a benefit management subsidiary called Oxford Benefit Management https://www.uhc.com/obm/products that was one of the industry’s first web-based small group healthcare products distribution platforms.
In 1998, Chuck co-founded TechHealth Inc., a worker’s compensation management company. TechHealth was sold to One-Call Medical in 2012.

He is founder and President of a Tampa based not-for-profit social and charitable organization attached to the Gasparilla Parade and other events around Tampa, called the Krewe of the Conch Republic, www.kreweoftheconchrepublic.org.

Chuck is a St. Bonaventure University graduate. From Rochester, NY, he currently lives in Tampa, FL with his wife and their five children. In his spare-time he writes books and screenplays and plays golf.

Kerry Van Iseghem

Chief Executive Officer

Kerry Van Iseghem, the Chief Executive Officer for O’Neill Marketing, is a young entrepreneur and licensed agent who brings enthusiasm to the insurance industry. Licensed in all 50 states and an expert in ACA, Medicare, Life, and Ancillary products. Kerry has been working in healthcare-related companies for the past five years.

After graduating from Furman University with a BA in Business Administration, Kerry spent four years in Colorado in a project management roll before getting into sales.

Kerry grew up in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York, where he credits his education and experiences at McQuaid Jesuit as the catalyst for his entrepreneurial spirit. He loves music, sports, and all outdoor activities!

Matthew Ricci

Chief Operating Officer

Matt joins Kerry, in running the day-to-day operations and growth of O’Neill Marketing. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Matt began his career as a tax accountant and banker. He then transitioned to insurance and holds a license in 30 states. Matt is a music enthusiast with a specialty in guitar and drums.

Sarah Van Iseghem

Director of Human Resources

Sarah, originally from Raleigh, NC, joined the team in April 2020. With a background in Performance Psychology, she enjoys watching agents reach their peak performance with O’Neill Marketing. She is responsible for contracting agents and assists in marketing and social media efforts.

Marcelene Pilcher

Marketing Associate

Marcelene is a marketing assistant for O’Neill Marketing. She is currently a student of Integrated Marketing and Public Relations at the University of South Florida, where she maintains a spot on the Dean’s List. Her greatest career aspiration is to work in creative marketing for large brands or firms. She is excited to be a part of the O’Neill team!

Louise Curtis

Organizational Dynamo

Louise is part of the Agent Support team at O’Neill Marketing, where she is available to assist with all questions. Empowering our Agents to be informed and efficient is her goal. Louise lives in beautiful Canandaigua, NY with her husband and enjoys sailing, skiing, biking, and gardening.
